Sadly to date no Indonesian government or private corporation, institution or organization has made any notable financial contribution to JakArt@2002, which implies that the significance and importance of JakArt for our society is seriously underestimated.
If it were not for remarkable contributions of the many determined individuals and parties involved in the making of JakArt@2002 and the wisdom and generosity of e2 avant-garde the citizens of Jakarta would be denied this landmark cultural event.
