This competition was open to amateur and professional
photographers of all nationalities and was
 designed to identify
and nurture talented photographers and to encourage them
to follow their dreams and fulfil their talent and potential.
The ITFPC was also aimed at young professional photographers at the beginning of their careers and recognizes outstanding talents.

Rules and Regulations

 

This competition was only for images shot within the period April 1 – October 27, 2009
Entries were only valid if captured in one of the cities mentioned in ’60 cities’ list above.
Your photos must have been taken with a digital camera.
Entries had to be submitted by an individual (not via any agency or similar).

The participants were invited to submit 4 photos per city, each taken in a different setting.A committee of distinguished professionals selected the winners based on one of these 4 photos.

THE PHOTOS ENTERED IN THIS COMPETITION
HAD THE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES:

Teenage fashion photography.
Individual or group photos of teenagers (mainly of girls. – boys are not excluded)
showing their fashion behaviour, wardrobe, hair, makeup, color schemes
and unique memorable look 
in their local environment.

– artistic and creative –
a recognizable, provocative artistic impression of how Local teens model their unique fashion creations in their own local environment revealing their style secrets.
The arrangement of visual elements and ingredients in the photographs should be creative.

Photographs had to be high resolution original files of camera-made digital photos in JPG or TIFF formats. The size should was least 1819 x 2598 pixels [154 x 220mm horizontal] at 300 dpi resolution, with a maximum file size of 10 MB.
If you are not familiar with these technical details we advise you to make sure
that your digital camera is set on ‘jpg fine’ (The highest quality for your images)
